Luckily, I found out that if you rub olive oil into their skin and let it soak (a LOT of oil) and then wash with soap, it comes right off. So much for permanent!

Wow, those are spectacular. I especially like the portal of doom. i feel like that has a lot of make believe playing surrounding it. "Look mom! I'm being sucked into the 4th dimension!"

Jennifer: Actually it was in the pantry. I think she put it there instead of the chocolate chips, which definitely were found to be in her mouth. It's easy to confuse those things sometimes.

My friends took the bottom out of the crib and put the mattress directly on the floor inside the crib, to stop their two year old from getting out. I thought that was genius.

I put the gate up this morning in the hall and left Caden with Aaron while I went to take a peaceful shower. By peaceful I mean Caden stood at the gate hollering for me like a skinned spider monkey, while Aaron looked at camera's on ebay.

Oh well.

Lol.... Lathie can almost walk.. it's the climbing part that's so worrisome. I found her in the toilet the other day. And I do mean IN the toilet. Other times, she decides she needs a bath and just climbs in.

We are heavily investing really tall gates.

Adeia, on the other hand, is like the only tow year old ever to NOT climb out of her crib....even though she can climb in.

I'll take what I can get.

Oh wow. Yes I am semi-terrified about Caden when he learns to walk. And climb. Right now I only have to search ground level when I can't find him.

Alethea....

Oh, Alethea. She's a little more adventurous than I expected. She actually climbs up the playground equipment and goes backwards down the slide on her stomach. It's alarming.

Taking her places requires the eyes of an eagle and the reflexes of a ninja. We went to the library today, and seriously every time I turned around to say something to Adeia, she climbed on top of a table or shelf. It was hilarious. And tiring.
