Hey, this is Adeia.
Ok, I need a little info from some of you “knowledgeable” types out there. Let me preface.
Awhile back my Dad bought me a “Princess Wand.” It’s pretty cool – it lights up, and has this sort of orb thing on the top that spins and glows. I had heard from some of the other kids at the park that princesses get whatever they want. So naturally, I put two and two together and was pretty excited. Come bedtime, I waved the wand at Dad and looked adorable (I think Mom is immune to magic). And then I still had to go to bed.
I figured I was doing something wrong, and kept trying. …Nothing worked. Totally false advertising.
Anyway, I did a little research on “magical objects that get you whatever you want.” (I googled it.) I’m hearing a lot about a little rectangular piece of plastic with a black stripe on the back. Apparently, if you can get one of these with your name on it, you’re pretty much golden. Obviously, I’m in the market, so can anyone with experience with these things tell me how to get ahold of one?
Well, I am not sure if they will let you have one if you aren’t tall enough to reach the counter to hand it to them. Then again, you are pretty cute. But, here is my advice. Don’t get one of your own. Use your daddy’s. Trust me, he’ll love you for it.
Extra points if you use it without him knowing you took it….
Wow. It took me too long to get that. I guess I’m not in that knowledgeable group.
No, it’s just that you probably haven’t gotten one of your own yet.
No I do not. And I do not want one.
We have one. We don’t use it, but it’s good to have in case your car breaks down somewhere in the sticks and your only way out is to buy gas from the creepy gas station that sells oats out front and you don’t have any cash and no, they don’t take debit cards…..
Just food for thought.
Well, I just saw on the news that a three-year-old was able to get one, so Addie, just wait until they start sending you offers.
I saw that too.
Your time will come, Kiddo!
I did get a little frightened.
Then I realized it was a credit card.
Then I got frightened again.
You have to really be out in the sticks to find a place that doesn’t take debit but takes credit. ‘Specially with the little VISA logo on it and everything.
Debit cards can be used as credit cards
